I’ve been waiting so long.
I’ve left messages.
“Where are you?”
“Where did you go?”
But still, no reply.

I’m getting worried now.
It’s been too long
Since I’ve seen your sweet words.
Far too long
For me to not be worried.

It’s Christmas now.
I thought you would come back for Christmas.

And say those two simple words,
“Merry Christmas!”

Maybe even two other words
I want so much to see.
But who knows what you’ll say
Until you actually say it.
But still, no message from you as of now.

I know you didn’t forget me,
But I feel somewhat left behind. Alone.
I’m just here, waiting for your reply.

I’ll wait forever for your return.

Oh, how overjoyed my heart will be
When you finally do return.

And be so relieved that you’re ok.
